The ROG Strix Z690-I Gaming WiFi motherboard is equipped with an innovative cooling system to effectively manage the thermals of Intel’s latest processors. The two VRM heatsinks and aluminum I/O cover are connected by an L-shaped heat pipe, providing ample mass and surface area for heat dissipation. Specially engineered thermal pads efficiently transfer heat from the inductor and phase array to the heatsink, ensuring optimal thermal performance.

Taking cooling a step further, the motherboard features a triple-decker heatsink design. This clever arrangement allows for stacking two M.2 slots, both equipped with Q-Latch and full-size, double-sided heatsinks.
